Boxing Stadium:

To give boost to the sport in Chandigarh. The school has constructed the biggest open Boxing Stadium of North India which is fared on International standards. The cost of Boxing Stadium and the Boxing Ring is estimated to be 28 lakhs. Mr. K. K. Sharma, Chairman cum Manager of the school said that the school provides coaching to 20 budding boxers from the city. The boxers are trained under the guidance of qualified coaches. The school also gives food and accommodation free of cost to them.


The school has a well-designed Basketball court with the facility of flood lights. Not only this in CBSE gives the school an opportunity to organize Cluster Basketball Tournament every year. The school has been organizing this event for the last so many years successfully. Pandit Mohan Lal Basketball Memorial Tournaments are to held every year to pay tribute to Pandit Ji, the founder of the institution.

Yoga exercise promotes harmony and balance in all functions of the body. Keeping in mind the importance of yoga the students from class Nursery to XII, are taught Yogic Asanes. Regular classes for teaching and practicing yoga are held.

Not only these students participate in yoga competitions held by yoga institute and others schools of the city. They have brought laurels to the school by winning many competitions at various levels. Just to mention one of student won prize in Swami Vivekanand open National Yoga championship 2010-11.


Students of classes V-XII are being given a rigorous training to become star athletes.

Athletes practice daily from 6:45 am to 8:15 am in the school ground.

  • Running Events – 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 5000m
  • Jumping Events – Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump
  • Throwing Events – Shot put, Discus Throw
